Steeped in the social and architectural history, the State Heritage-listed building, formally known as the Old Stanley Grammar School, established in 1857, sits in the heart of vineyards and wineries of the Clare Valley. The grand and magnificent stone building with Georgian facade overlooks neighbouring lush vineyards, has sweeping lawns and gardens surrounding the home.

As you enter you will be absorbed in the history and spirit of the past. The grand entrance features a gorgeous timber staircase that leads to the mezzanine and upper floor. On the ground level be impressed by the enormous old schoolroom, now a formal dining and lounge room. Adjoining is the billiard room with original flagstone slate flooring and unique second heritage staircase.

The suites are beautifully decorated with a choice of French provincial, oriental or contemporary rooms. There is an eclectic mix of heritage and luxury living, the best of the old and new.

Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home, pour a coffee and relax on the verandahs, taking in the serenity and abundance of bird life. Or explore the Clare Valley region and experience the great restaurants, wineries, historic towns and unique country side.
