Experience the grandeur of a 150 year historic old grammar school in the heart of the Clare Valley. There’s nothing else in the valley quite like Stanley Grammar Country House, a truly magnificent Georgian country mansion, offering relaxed luxury accommodation, overlooking vineyards, rolling lawn gardens; and close to wineries, restaurants, shopping and historic towns.

The suites are beautifully decorated with a choice of French provincial, Oriental and contemporary themes. One particular huge classroom is grand, and used as the formal dining and lounge room “with spit balls over 100 years old" on the ceiling. There’s a billiard room, a gentleman’s library, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and garden areas. All rooms are filled with paintings, antiques, books, magazines and eclectic pieces which adds so much character.
