Location

Stanley Grammar Country House is situated 118km north of Adelaide in the pretty town of Watervale. From Adelaide it is a 90 minute drive.

By Car from Adelaide there are two routes that can be taken. One is via the Port Wakefield Road or the other via Main North Road. Both routes offer tourist highlights.

Route directions – leaving Adelaide from the intersection of Grand Junction Road, Gepps Cross.

BALAKLAVA ROUTE – ex GPO Adelaide 118km
  • Take the A1 Port Wakefield Road, turn right at Two Wells or Mallala turn off
  • Then head to Mallala, Balaklava, Auburn
  • From Auburn turn left from A32 Main North Road
  • Watervale is 8km from Auburn.

GAWLER ROUTE – ex GPO Adelaide 108km
  • Take the A20 Main North Road until reaching Gawler
  • Turn left at Tarlee turn off then continue travelling through Roseworthy and Tarlee till reaching the Clare and Burra turn off
  • Head in Clare direction on A32 Main North Road
  • Watervale is about 8km north of Auburn.

International travellers can be picked up by arrangement from Adelaide airport.
